He obtained his law degree at the University of Antwerp in 2001. In 2002 he obtained an LL.M in Industrial Property Law at the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) of the University of Strasbourg.
Christophe was a trademark and design attorney with Gevers for 8 years. As of 2007 he was also partaking in the day-to-day management of the Antwerp and Hasselt offices of Gevers as a director.
In 2011 he started his career as a lawyer in the Intellectual Property Department of Field Fisher Waterhouse (now FieldFisher). Afterwards he worked in the Intellectual Property Department of Baker & McKenzie, and for the niche law firm IP Porta.
Christophe joined Praetica as a partner in 2018.
He is a member of:
- the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (BMM);
- the Belgian National Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (BNVBIE);
- the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
Christophe speaks Dutch, English and French.
