Dominique Janssen

Dominique Janssen graduated from the University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and is a member of the Brussels bar (NOAB) since 1986.

She developed her career while:

teaching Law:

• From 1996 until 2006 she was an assistant-professor at the Law-faculty of the University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles);

undertaking scientific endeavors:

• She is the author of several publications regarding her two primary areas of expertise: commercial lease and brewery-agreements;
• She has lead several conferences regarding commercial lease, brewery-agreements and (the consequences of) National and European competition law;
• She has developed a digital research system dedicated to commercial lease that can be consulted online (after registration), under the name “lexosphere” (http://www.lexosphere.com/)..

In her day to day practice, she primarily focuses upon commercial lease, brewery-agreements and trade-distribution, areas of expertise in which she has become a widely recognized authority. She is also active in general trade and contract-law.

Mr. Dominique Janssen is also an accredited mediator in civil and commercial matters.
